In the past I have had several complaints with Navient. They have been double charging my bank account at least five or six times. An example is last month I paid them $100 on my $80 bill. They went ahead and took the $100 out of my account and an additional $163 without my permission. This has happened to me several times. Another issue I have with them is for whatever reason that no one can tell me why my bill will double for the month. So my $80 bill will go up to $160. I have called them and they told me that they can change my bill however they see fit and there’s nothing I can do about it. I have also had them credit my account for 3 months because they charged me double a couple moths in a row. I had a manager give me permission to do this with no added interest charges or late fees. So I waited a month and checked my loan status. Not only did they not credit my account for those months but the charged me late fees. I spoke with one of the managers and he told me that they can say whatever they want to get the customer to be happy and have no intentions of doing what they had agreed on. When I asked him for a copy of the conversation, because I couldn’t believe what he just told me, that they can lie to us. He said that the recordings are not for client use only themselves. This is by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I sent them emails and faxes and get no response from them. The newest issue is when I signed up for this loan I actually had 2 loans with them. One was for about $3,000 and the second for $4,000. Well about 6 or 7 months ago I paid one of them off. So I only have had one loan since then until today. I looked at my bill and there was the loan I had paid off was back with a $444 bill. I have tried to settle this with them before and they have had no intentions of not taking money from me without asking or doing anything to ever make this right.
