I am going to try to make this as understandable as I can… I made a call to Navient regarding Loan (This loan includes a combination of loan 1, 5 & 6 in which loan 1 & 5 have been charged off. I have been making payments to one of THEIR collection companies,National Enterprise Systems, for those loans and am current on those payments) to find out why loan #6 is showing past due when it shouldn’t. The lady I spoke with wouldn’t talk to me about loan number 6 because she was showing loan 1 & 5 were 208 past due and forwarded me over to the collections dept. I was never made aware of any of this! When I got transferred to them, I tried explaining that I have been making payments on loan number 1 & 5 through National Enterprise Systems through an auto draft every month so those accounts should be current. She told me that I needed to prove it. I also explained that the main reason I called was to get the loan number 6 squared away because I have made payments every month directly to Sallie Mae and that loan also should be current. She informed that she couldn’t help me with that loan that she would transfer me back and for me to let them know that I was concerned about loan number 6. After being transferred again, they still wouldn’t talk to me about loan number 6 to get that one corrected. So now all of my loans in their system are showing past due. I was on the phone with Sallie Mae for 90 minutes and was told it wasn’t Sallie Mae’s responsibility to make sure my payments on loan 1 & 5 were paid. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was either told one was not available or sat on hold for a long period of time to literally hanging up the phone with absolutely no questions answered, I immediately contacted National Enterprise Systems and asked them if they were showing me as current. I was told I was current and that they would send me a history and a copy of the agreement. I then emailed Sallie Mae regarding my conversation with National Enterprise Systems and my frustration and that I would file a complaint with the BBB (hoping that if I put it in writing that they would look into my account further and get it corrected). I, and my co-signer, have since then been receiving emails regarding re-payment options as if my loan is still behind. I have had several communication issues with Sallie Mae, all which have been handled poorly. I am seriously concerned the record they are creating on my credit along with my IRS information with interest that I have paid in.
