I received a call from Sallie Mae one night. It’s the first time I’ve ever heard of this company. I was doing the dishes and had to stop to take the call. I asked them what the call was about and they asked for my address. I didn’t give them any information. Even though I am disabled and has a chronic illness, I know for a fact that it’s dangerous to give out personal information over the phone to some company I’ve never heard about in the past. If you are contacted by this company, do just hang up and never give them any information. You should never give your address to anyone over the phone.
