My loans are held by Navient. Once I realized they were billing me even though I was still in school. I called them spoke to a customer service representative and they told me my loans should be in deferment so I should wait till the school reports to clearing house. Well, I did what they told me to do. A week later I started getting calls from the delinquency department telling me that my loans are no longer eligible for deferment because I reached the limit. So I told them that each and every time they called me I have answered and talked to them. Once my school reported to clearing house they sent me a letter saying that my deferment was denied. Due to waiting which is what they told me to do. Now my only option is to pay them a forbearance fee of $150 to defer my loan till feb., which is only a month away. Then in Feb. I would have to pay another $150. If they had told me this from the beginning I would not be in this boat. Each time I spoke to the collections department and customer service, their information about my loans were different. Now they are telling me that if I don’t come up with the money that they will ruin my credit and that I should ask my family members for help. Well, when you don’t have family members to ask, there is not point
