About Dana Kieras
Dana is an attorney at Agruss Law Firm and joined the firm in July 2022. Dana is a Chicagoland native, who grew up in the northwestern suburb of Wheeling. For her undergraduate degree, Dana attended Eastern Illinois University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in History. She was a graduating member of the History Honors Program and was named to the Dean's List as well. After graduation, Dana moved to China and was an English teacher at a language school in the city of Xi’an.
Dana then went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from the John Marshall Law School NKA UIC Law in Chicago. While attending law school at night, Dana obtained extensive legal knowledge working as a paralegal and law clerk at several firms and specialized in workers’ compensation, personal injury, and employment law.
Dana manages the Workers’ Compensation Department at Agruss Law Firm. Prior to joining ALF, Dana gained substantial experience working at several well-established firms in Chicago and surrounding suburbs. She has worked on thousands of cases and obtained substantial settlements for her clients through both successful negotiations and trial victories. During her practice of law, Dana has truly enjoyed being able to litigate cases and has experience in many different court settings, including the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Illinois Department of Employment Security, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and Circuit Courts throughout Chicago and the surrounding counties.
In her free time, Dana enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family, including her husband John and daughter Charlotte.
