If you or a loved one has fractured a bone from an accident, contact Mike Agruss Law for a free consultation so we can help you recover from this experience and get fairly compensated.

A fractured fibula is a specific term for an ankle fracture, where one of the ankle bones has been broken or cracked due to some high energy impact. When you have this injury and are being treated for it, your doctor will instruct you on how to act and what is advisable or not as well as what is permitted or not so that your injury can heal in the best and fastest way.

You will likely be given a splint, cast, or boot to immobilize the area and prevent some weight from being put on the area. You may also be given a knee scooter or crutches to completely avoid putting weight on your ankle. This gives you the best chance at a faster and safer recovery. All treatments differ based on the specific injury. Your fracture will warrant different treatment from another person’s. So, it is important to follow your doctor’s instructions above anything else.
