A boy who attended my church 13 years ago- until his family moved away- put my name down on his college loan applications with Navient. For the past several years, they have been calling me- wanting payment on the loans. I have called numerous times to tell them I have not seen this boy since he was about 16 or 17 years old- I have no idea where he lives or what he is doing. I have no contact whatsoever with him or his family. They continue to call and leave messages. I return the calls and am told that my name and number are no longer in the system- but then another call comes. They have stepped up their calling now to nearly calling me every week. I cannot ge them to stop calling me about this situation. (The young man’s name that they keep calling me about is “Jon Arnold.”) I don’t know who to contact to get them to stop. This makes me feel harassed by them because instead of stopping calling- they are calling more frequently. How do I get them to stop? Who do I contact to report them for doing this to me? Please help. THANK YOU!
