Who to I call for help. With garnishment? Columbia Collection garnishment me and took 100% of my paycheck through my checking account today. My bank didn't in from me about this garnishment at all. They just went ahead and send the collection agency my money with out me knowing it until this morning when I received a text from my bank stating that I have $0.00 balance in my checking account and $5.00 in my savings account.

Columbia collection services is sending my past employers garnishment letters and harassing me. They already emptied my bank account last year, I explained to them I was in no position to pay that amount, they added all these miscellaneous fees and are threatening to take me to court. I do not owe them the amount they are asking. I will not accept the threats and harassment they are doing to me and my family. I need help. Thank you

Can the Columbia collection Service refuse to allow me to pay my granddaughter's 24.68 bill even though she called and told them I wanted to pay it and she told them it was OK I have a copy of the bill, with the account no. and the name of the person she spoke to and his extension number. Now they want me to give them her birthdate! I called the company, offered to pay the bill, First they said they would call me back. When i called again the following week they said I could not pay the bill without her permission. I called her, had her call them and give permission. She was told that i was to call and ask for extension 107. When I did I was told to leave a message. When i was not called back, I called again and was told it was not a valid extension. When i called again they told me Jacob Goodman was in a training session and that was why he did not get back to me. When i called again , I was put off by themtelling me they need my grand daughter's birthdate. At that point i threatened to call the police. My credit card company thinks that this is a scam. what is the point of all this? nothing else except that I will be talking to my legislator tomorrow. So you had better be on the up and up!
