One type of injury that can come from certain accidents is broken bones. One type of bone fracture injury is a comminuted fracture. If you or a loved one has sustained a comminuted fracture from an accident, contact Mike Agruss Law for a free consultation so we can help you recover from this experience and get fairly compensated.

A comminuted fracture leaves the bone in two or more fragments after a very high-impact traumatic accident. Thus, it can be fairly painful to endure. It is an injury that is more often found in the hands or feet. To treat a comminuted fracture, it will most likely need surgery to clean out the wound, put the broken pieces back in their position, and ensure further damage will not be done around the site of the injury. After this, the patient will wear a cast or a splint to keep the bones stable in their position.
