If you or a loved one has fractured a bone from an accident, contact Mike Agruss Law for a free consultation so we can help you recover from this experience and get fairly compensated.

Bone fractures are all very different depending on their severity, location, and type of fracture. Not all fractures require casts. Treatment options can be simply prescribing pain medication along with rest and allowing the break to heal on its own, or it may be surgery with special instructions on how to rest.

Casts are typically required in cases of fractures when the broken bones must be aligned, immobilized, and/or allowing it to heal on its own may result in an abnormal configuration. They are required for longer bones since a cast has the control and strength to keep those fractures together. As opposed to a splint, a cast has 360-degree control of the bone to hold it in place. For leg fractures, crutches or a wheelchair are more common, though.
