An aircraft requires various components which all have their own functions that are essential in order for the whole to function properly. Since all aviation equipment at once is all required in order for a safe and successful flight, the failure of one can lead to disastrous consequences.  If you or a loved one has been in an accident due to faulty aviation equipment, contact us for a free consultation to see if you may be entitled to compensation.

An accident from faulty aviation equipment can be the result of a defect or malfunction in the equipment. A part may have a design defect that does not allow the aircraft to lift off the ground with enough power. This can cause a plane to lift off for a moment, and come to a harsh jolt down to the ground that could result in many deaths. In this case, the manufacturer of the particular aviation equipment that malfunctioned may be liable for the damages under product liability laws. They would be liable since they released a product that was defective to the public and put them at risk of injury or death.

Also, the actual physical components of the plane may be faulty. They can come off the aircraft mid-flight and/or gradually break other parts of the plane. The engines are also an essential part of aircraft and must be in full working order for the plane to properly fly. If one of the engines fail, it could mean an emergency landing or a crash, resulting in very serious injuries or deaths. The electrical equipment of the plane may also be faulty by picking up false signals or failing to pick up signals from the air. They are also necessary to receive messages from air traffic controllers. When one malfunction, the pilots may be left in the dark and the consequences can be tragic.

In almost all cases, the manufacturer of the faulty equipment can be liable for the damages associated with an accident. Consult one of our attorneys to help determine the liability and if you have a case. We can help you get fairly compensated for the damages that you endured from this accident.
