I recently called Navient to discuss lowering or delaying payments of my student loans. I was told by a representative that she couldn’t help me and she would connect me to the collections department. Someone else answered,

asked my name and the I was automatically sent to the beginning of the call again. When I got back to another representative, I was told that I have no options and that collections hangs up on people if they see they have no options instead of explaining it to the caller. I was then to,d I had used all the months of my deferment options but the representative couldn’t give me the dates that I supposedly used it.
