Sallie Mae failed to pay me credit-card rewards of $250 (Visa account ending in 9892). On October 3, 2012, I requested a $250 statement check, which was to accompany my October ’12 credit-card statement. Nevertheless, Sallie Mae did not issue an October statement, so I did not get my $250 statement check. There was no October statement because Sallie Mae sold the Visa account to Barclays, who converted the Visa to a Mastercard (ending in 3045). Whenever I contact Barclays about my $250 in outstanding rewards, it refers me to Sallie Mae. But, whenever I mention the same issue to Sallie Mae, it tells me to contact Barclays. As a result of this tomfoolery , my $250 in credit-card rewards are still in limbo.
