The only thing I want to say is me. Cooper had no class or right to speak the way he does. The way he spoke to me. he did not care , nor no compassion nor a way to fix it. literally make me feel less than dirt. Shameful. In the 29 years on this earth that I have never spoken to someone like that or nor have I ever been spoken to like that nor do I ever wish to be spoken to like that. It was just a crime.

I went into Sweetwater Cove apartment offices in 2008 and told them I was not signing a new lease. I later found out that Florida requires a two month written notice. Nobody at the office told me that. I owe over a $1,000 and must deal with Capstone.I read all the complaints about them and how nasty they are. What are my options?

I owe over $1,000 and have to deal with Capstone. I did not know about Florida's two month written notice law. Sweetwater Cove Apartments failed to tell me that when I told them I was not signing a new lease in 2008.

Contact me by email. Capstone has a fraudulent claim on my credit stating that I owe thousands of dollars for not giving a 60 prior notice to The Fountains of Palm Beach Gardens before moving out. False, I have recently confirmed with the same property manager there and I have proof of leaving with a zero balance and my full deposit was returned. We indeed had to give a 60 day prior typed out notice to the Assistant Property Manager Mary. She put the prior notice on non-renewal into their system right in front of me as I sat there and put in the date of our movers that were scheduled. We did the final walk through with her and our unit was flawless ready to immediately rent. They even commented that they have never had such a clean move out. The property manager recently told me that Capstone makes these fake claims. The Fountains is under new ownership and they do not use Capstone. Capstone has been harassing me over a fraudulent prior notice claim and will not remove it from my credit. I demand it to be removed. Agruss law please advise me of what I can do to stop this fraudulent collections agency.

in 2009, I moved out of my apartment in Largo, FL due to there being squatters in the vacant unit next door. This decision came after repeated failure for the apartment complex to handle this issue. As soon as it became necessary for me to move, I asked my property manager what I needed to do to break my lease. She told me as long as I could be out before the 1st of the month, I could just walkaway and simply forfeit my deposit. That was 3 days away so I took off work and made it happen. 3 days later I turned in my keys and put it behind me. I recently checked my credit report and see that I owe nearly $3,000 to Capstone for a collection by the apartment management company. Paying the remaining rent would have equated to less than this so the charges are not justified, nor was I made aware of this when I asked to break the lease. I was given the impression that there were no issues with my decision to leave the complex and that certainly was not true.

I had DirecTV and decided to go on air. I installed a roof antenna and ask them to halt my service. The next bill I got charged me for two months; (the month I was on air plus the following month. I paid one of the dharges and told them I had been on air for the other month. Now they are giving me a hassle for service I don't and won't pay! James Lawler!

I have an account with Capstone which has been on my credit report for 5 years according to my credit report. I resided at a community named Chowder Bay Apartments, before it was purchased by Dominium. About 2-3 years ago is when I first noticed that Capstone was on my credit report with a reference to Chowder Bay Apartments. I went into the management office where I was given the number to Capstone. I called several times and received no return calls. I tried to dispute the information on my credit report, but it is still listed. It now just shows disputed by consumer, but valid. Today I noticed there was an option to call via Credit Karma. I called and provided my info for the person who answered to pull up my information. I interupted the person politely because of the accusations being made on why I owed the amount stated on my report were false. The lady interupted me and we began to argue and she hung up. I called back and asked to speak with someone in a higher posistion. The lady stated that the person was not available, but she would have them call me back and she hung up without taking any information from me. I called back a 3rd time to state that she didn't take a phone number, she stated that "back in the 80's there was this thing invented called caller ID", so she had the number. I let her know that she was rude and dispresectful. While on the first call with her, she told me that I should have done a walkthrough of the apartment and that there wasn't anything I could do about the claim on my credit report. About 30 mintues later a gentlment calls me back and asks the reason for my call. I first explained the unprofessional manner of how I was treated by his person answering the phone. He could careless about this. I then explained that the information they had was false. He explained that I already disputed this info on my credit report, but the only way to get it off of my report would be to pay this "false" debt. He wasn't as rude as the lady I first spoke with but he was rude and was no help. So here I am looking for a way to get some help in removing this information from my credit report. I am not certain that I have any proof that these accustions are false. I have to look through all of my paperwork. I am not certain either way that I was given anything. I moved out of this community in 2012, so due to the timeframe I may not have any proof. Is there anything that can be done or any recommendations that can be made?

Capstone Credit & Collections placed a collections account on my 3 credit reports without ever contacting me. I never received phone calls, or a dunning letter which would allow me to dispute the alleged debt and request verification of the debt. I disputed th alleged debt on Experian, Trans Union and Equafax and only Trans Union listed the accout as closed. The other 2 have not removed it and as such this company is in violation of FDCPA and FCRA!

We have never signed an agreement with them, nor spoken on the phone to confirm our identity and have filed 6 fcra disputes due to inaccuracies in our credit. They have negatively impacted our credit for years now, and harrassed us daily. Do you think we could resolve this and have it removed from our credit?
