I have a question about collections unlimited. My son lives in another state and collections unlimited sent him a letter to his old address here in ky. Anyway, he is currently unemployed, and recieving VA disability. The collection agency states that he owes 298.00 to a third party creditor. He spoke to them about a week ago by phone. They senta letter here to Ky. Anyway, the letter does not say that if he doesn't pay, they'll sue, what it does have on it is what I believe, is a bogus court case no. At the end of letter, it states that if he doesn't pay the debt, he'll be responsible for debt and court costs. Isn't that illegal!
