Is CRB harassing you over a debt? Stop the harassment. Get Money. And you won’t pay us a dime for our services. Whether you owe the debt or not, you are protected under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

CRB (which stands for California Recovery Bureau) is a collection agency that has been in business since 1992. CRB is headquartered in San Diego, California, and has a staff of 18 employees. CRB collects debt in the following businesses: health care, auto loans, telecommunications, commercial, financial, and personal property taxes.

According to its website, CRB offers “Old-style dedication combined with new-world technology, in conjunction with an extensive collection experience, makes CRB one of the premier, full service receivable management companies in the industry today,” which does not ensure compliance with the FDCPA. The FDCPA has been around for almost 35 years. The FDCPA is a federal law that applies to every state. In other words, everyone is protected by the FDCPA. The FDCPA is essentially a laundry list of what debt collectors can and cannot do while collecting a debt, as well as things debt collectors must do while collecting a debt.

According to the Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER), CRB has been sued thirteen times in the last two years for debt collection harassment. It does not get any better for CRB on the Better Business Bureau. The Better Business Bureau has processed 137 complaints regarding CRB in the last three years.

CRB may be calling you from the following telephone numbers: 419-517-0061, 419-517-0016, 800-738-1022, 419-517-0029, 800-788-8861, 419-517-0064, 844-559-1659

If CRB has harassed you over a debt, you may be entitled to money damages up to $1,000.00. Plus, the FDCPA has a fee-shift provision. This means, the collection agency pays your attorney’s fees and costs. We have settled over 1,500 debt collection harassment cases. Let us help you today. Contact Mike Agruss Law at 888-572-0176 to stop CRB once and for all.
