ER Solutions is now known as Convergent Outsourcing.  Convergent Outsourcing / ER Solutions is one of the largest third-party collection agencies in the United States.  Convergent Outsourcing / ER Solutions employs more than 2,600 employees in 13 locations in 10 states.  Convergent Outsourcing / ER Solutions provides contingency-collection services to the following industries: hospitals and health systems, banks and financial institutions, retailers, telecommunications, cable and satellite, utilities, and commercial creditors.

According to its Web site, Convergent Outsourcing / ER Solutions’ mission is to use “…high ethical standards and strict adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and policies.”  However, according to its track record, Convergent Outsourcing / ER Solutions’ collection activities shed a much different light when analyzed under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) has been around for almost 35 years.  The FDCPA is a federal law that applies to every state.  In other words, everyone is protected by the FDCPA.  The FDCPA is essentially a laundry list of what debt collects can and cannot do while collecting a debt, as well as things debt collectors must do while collecting a debt.

According to the Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER), Convergent Outsourcing / ER Solutions has been sued over 150 times in the last three years for harassing consumers.  It does not get any better for Convergent Outsourcing / ER Solutions on the Better Business Bureau, either.  The Better Business Bureau processed almost 200 billing/collection issues regarding Convergent Outsourcing / ER Solutions in the last three years.

Convergent Outsourcing trying to collect a debt I do not owe. The debt from "Dish Network" The debt mentioned in a letter sent me styling a debt incurred at "Dish Network" Account No. “8255909444321258”. “Convergent Account” “T-8070093” is indeed disputed by me as this debt was never reported to me by any billing entity. Now several years later I get hit with a collection

I have been receiving call daily for the last 2 or 3 weeks I have no outstanding debt. . And another thing is that they are not calling me they are calling my daughters number. They will not give me the company they are representing. This is very frustrating and the fact that I am 73 years old and they know yet insist on daily calls. The number they call my daughters phone is 510-9314-5668, why are they not calling my number?
