Is Meridian Financial Services harassing you over a debt? Stop the harassment. Get Money. And you won’t pay us a dime for our services. Whether you owe the debt or not, you are protected under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

Meridian Financial Services is a collection agency that has been in business since 2008. Meridian Financial Services is headquartered in Englewood, California. Meridian Financial Services is a full-service collection agency, which uses various software programs to trace people and gather information on them. Meridian Financial Services collects on accounts for property management companies, homeowners associations, and resort developers.

According to its website, Meridian Financial Services claims, “Meridian Financial Services has been providing first- and third-party collections for more than a decade, combining proven collection techniques with state-of-the-art technologies designed specifically for the vacation ownership industry.” However, according to its track record, Meridian Financial Services’ collection activities shed a much different light when analyzed under the FDCPA. The FDCPA has been around for almost 35 years. The FDCPA is a federal law that applies to every state. In other words, everyone is protected by the FDCPA. The FDCPA is essentially a laundry list of what debt collectors can and cannot do while collecting a debt, as well as things debt collectors must do while collecting a debt.

According to the Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER), Meridian Financial Services has been sued ten times in the last two years for debt collection harassment.

Meridian Financial Services has several telephone numbers it places debt collection calls from. Meridian Financial Services may be calling you from the following telephone numbers: 800-470-2791, 800-606-5122, 888-459-0999, 845-004-9960, 520-745-0050

If Meridian Financial Services has harassed you over a debt, you may be entitled to money damages up to $1,000.00. Plus, the FDCPA has a fee-shift provision. This means, the collection agency pays your attorney’s fees and costs. We have settled over 1,500 debt collection harassment cases. Let us help you today. Contact Mike Agruss Law at 888-572-0176 to stop Meridian Financial Services once and for all.

I owned a time share at Sappire Beach Club in St Maarten. I was required to pay yearly maintenance fees. I discharged my debt, and my time share contract in my 2012 Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Despite this and despite making Meridian aware of the bankruptcy laws, Meridian has continued to list the discharged debt on financial credit reports on Transunion and others. I want to prosecute Meridian for blatantly violating Federal Bankruptcy laws...and I want them to IMMEDIATELY remove the NEGATIVE report about me on ALL Credit Agency Reports!!

855-968-0698 Been getting calls at my workplace, told them to stop calling my employer. Person, didn't catch the name stated sending paperwork to garnish my wages-I have never got any notice nor did they state who I owed or how much. I have voicemails threatening to process garnishment, I have emails from scammers trying to scare me. I have been told to not entertain them, tell them to stop calling and send me validation information. They keep calling.

I received a phone call from someone stating they were with my county's magistrates office and that I was going to be served a summons to appear if I didn't call a number and speaj. Sorry I ran out of space. They represented themselves as being from the court system. I called and it was Meridian. After talking with them I called my county magistrates office and there is no one by that name. I'd rather not give out my number. I feel like I've been scammed. I don't need an attorney. I just wanted to know if what they were doing was legal or not. I 'm assuming it is not. I have the voice message they left!

I was called my Meridian today and he was very rude. Yelling at me. Telling me he is going to call me everyday. I also think has he was yelling at me he was using some type of loud screeching device in the back ground. I kept asking him what is was, he would not answer me and just kept yelling at me. I has to do with Timeshare fees owed. I know I am behind. I went thru a lot this year and was planning on getting back to it. My timeshare is paid in full. I do not want it, never really did. Feel I was pressured into buying it Said no several times, but they would not stop i really just do not know what to do about it. Very confused and upset!

We had a time share that was included in a Ch 13 bankruptcy, filed in 2012 and discharged in 2017. Past due assessments were included in this action. It was our intent to surrender the property at that time- however the deed was never transferred for some reason. We have not heard from this resort since PRIOR to filing in 2012. Last month we got notice from Meridian Financial that we owe $2100 in past due assessments-none of which we knew we owed as we were never notified. Meridian did not provide us with written notification or explanation of this debt. I called them to inquire and was told simply that it was for assessments post bankruptcy. However, in their initial collection letter they threatened to put something on our credit report if they dud not hear from us in 45 days. Ive had three phone calls to them within this time to try and resolve this matter- but they still placed something on our credit report- and we are still within our 45 day time period! We have worked hard to reestablish our credit and only found out about this debt 3 weeks ago, and are in the process of trying to resolve the matter. The resort wont talk to us- we are told we must go through Meridian. They want $1000 to deed back this property. But have already placed this on our credit before we even had s chance to make some sort of arrangement. Not sure if this is even legal. We dont know our rights here and dont want to ruin our credit over this.

Hi Fern. It is never right for a debt collector to yell or threaten a consumer and in some cases it is illegal. I would be happy to speak with you about your timeshare and what you can do to get these issues resolved. Give me a call at my office, we are experienced in dealing with Meridian Financial Services and many other debt collectors who toe the line of what is legal and acceptable under the law. Thanks, Mike

Hi Cherie. The statute of limitations varies for the type of debt that you have and the actual contract that you have. And while the statute of limitations applies to a civil judgment, it does not stop you from having to pay the debt. I'd like to discuss this with you in more detail and will give you a call. Thanks, Mike

Hi Lori. I can understand being hesitant to get a lawyer involved, but just know that a consultation with my law firm is free and you are under no obligation. Have you been served any paperwork from Meridian Financial Services or are they only threatening to take the matter to the court system? Again, you can certainly give me a call and we can discuss this further. Thanks, Mike

I keep getting texts from Sarah at Meredian saying I owe them $600 from there services 2 years ago. The company that took over my credit card debt stopped making my payments and never contacted me. My credit score dropped 100 points because of it. I contacted the credit card company and they let me make payments directly to them. I emailed this Meredian company when it happened and never got a response and now they are harassing me every Monday via text.
