Hi Frances. If you are receiving frequent, harassing phone calls from Professional Bureau of Collections, you can make them stop. They may be violating your rights and I would be happy to look over a call log from the calls you've received to determine if they are breaking the law and if you could be entitled to compensation. You can send over a call log to my office at michael@agrusslawfirm.com. I will review it and then give you a call. I look forward to speaking with you. Thanks, Mike

Hi Mary. While it isn't illegal for a debt collector to contact your friends and/or family to find you, they do have to follow certain rules, including only seeking accurate contact information for you and only calling once unless they are given false information from your loved one. How often are they calling your friend? Has your friend informed them that they want Professional Bureau of Collections to stop calling? Let's talk more about this--give me a call and we can have a free, no-obligation consultation. Thanks, Mike 888 572 0176

I have been receiving phone calls from phone number 800-866-2528--and they simply hang up. I have no idea who they are or what they want with me. I just tried to call the phone number back and told the female that answered the phone that I have been receiving hang up phone calls from them on my number, then the female told me to 'hold on' and then proceeded to hang up on me. I did not state my name or any personal information whatsoever in fear it is some sort of scam.
