Didn’t want you to call, but just an FYI, Verizon customer service says that is not a nimber they are familiar with. It’s a scam
Received a call from 1-800-754-0961. What is this about ?
On February 10, 2024 representative Chris from Verizon came by my house to promote a sales that Verizon was having. He said that I could get a better phone but I had to transfer my number. No hidden fees, no up front cost. On February 29th, 24, I received a bill in the amount of 112.56 from Verizon. My service was still working with Cricket and my phone service had not been transferred. Then I tried using my phone only to find out someone had called Cricket on February 16, and reported my phone lost/stolen. My service was disconnected. I had no phone service at all. I have seizures and several doctors appointments. I use sun van to travel and was not able to schedule a ride. I had to catch the bus to cricket to have my service turned back on with a boot on my foot after suffering a injury. I just recently received another bill in the amount of 204.86. the phone was returned to Verizon by FedEx 775473575270.
Back in Nov I switched to T-Mobile
My tablet was still getting charged by Verizon and T- Mobile and I was paying both.
Last month I requested a credit and the customer service rep said that would appear in my account and it has not. Now I’ve been getting these calls saying Verizon will report me to the Federal Credit Agencies. There should be a law protecting citizens from this harassment and I should be credited from November onward since they knew T-Mobile became my new carrier. Why would I need 2 carriers? This is abusive.
First time I heard from ?????, they indicated that I owed Verizon, $200.00.
I called Verizon and they assured me that that call was spam. Second, they left message that I needed to pay. Today I received a bill via USPS, indicating that I now owe, 216.00. I again contacted Verizon, they again indicayed that do owe any thing except my upcoming bill due in February of $60.00
I get constant calls from this number to collect a debt, I have asked them to call the other numbers on the phone plan as mine is not even the main number and I do not pay for the account as its a family plan and I am not the head of the family. I have asked numerous times to stop being called and texted for this and it has happened constantly for years.

Hi Hawah. Robocalls are annoying and frustrating, but you don't have to keep taking them. The law protects you from harassment and if you'd like to discuss how to make them stop, you can contact my office at your earliest convenience. Thanks, Mike

Hi Stephen. I will give you a call so we can discuss these calls and what you can do about them. Robocalls are frustrating and annoying and as someone who works for Verizon, I'm sure you would know if these calls supposedly coming from Verizon are legitimate or not. I will be in touch soon. Thanks, Mike

Hi Robert. It can be very frustrating to deal with customer service when you're just passed around and never receive the information you're looking for. And I can certainly understand worrying about your credit rating, it is a very important part of our lives. I would like to speak with you about your Verizon account and the hassle you've had in trying to deal with it. Please feel free to contact my office and we can have a free, no-obligation consultation. Thanks, Mike
I had a Verizon wireless flip phone for almost 20 years. They said they wouldn't support it anymore and said I needed to switch to a new one. But they refused to give me a new one. They wanted to charge some crazy big amount to get a new flip phone after giving them thousands of dollars over the years.
On 3/21/22 I switched to Tracfone which has better service at 1/4 the price. I tried to pay my final Verizon bill on the Verizon web site but it would not let me log in because I am no longer a customer!
I called Verizon to see if they could help. They said I would be mailed a final bill in the mail. That never happened.
Then on 4/25/22 I got a robo-call telling me I had to call 800-754-0961 immediately or face unspecified scary financial consequences.
I called that number, but it would not accept my disconnected Verizon Wireless number!
I tried calling back again and refused to press any buttons. That did eventually get me to a human. But I spent the next hour being transferred from one person to another. Each time I was transferred I had to start over.
I was just trying to be honest and pay my bill and they would not let me. Now I am afraid they will try to damage my credit rating.
Am I owed any compensation for this insane hassle that is straight out of a Kafka novel?
Number called several times from a 248 260 2215 number harassing me to call 18007540961 in regards to Verizon Financial Services. Problem is I am field agent for OSL RS a National Retailer contracted with Verizon so I know this is not legitimate practice. I reached out to our NE Michigan District Rep for Verizon and made a complaint as well.
leaving threathing messages regarding my cell phone bill (Verizon) to make payment or will be disconnected.
Number that showed up was (210) 202-3315 but they ask me to call (800) 754-0961.
A claimed Verizon recording has been left on my phone and many of my coworkers and customers too ( i work for the largest Verizon dealer) the call comes from one number and asks me to call another which is known to be fraud. It shows as a robocall on the caller id service I pay for through Verizon for my cell Obviously It isn't and even if it wasn't a known issue it is still a robocall. I am also on the national do not call list and have made claims in the past on other robocalls but no money 🤷♂️ I would love to be able to tell every crazy concerned customer that comes in asking what to do afraid their phones will be shut off when I tell them its spam call they ask how do stop it......so now what do say?
I'm not the primary on the account and hence the account is not in my name. I get calls around 10 times a day from a robot and they fill my voicemail. I've called before to complain and they apologized and went right back to doing the same thing.
