I paid my student loan off

I paid my student loan off on Oct 5 2012 with the 4 day pay off amount. There is now a credit on the account that Sallie Mae will not refund because “it is too small of an amount”. I also requested my account closed because the student loan has been more than paid in full. The representative said it will take at least 30 days from time of payment which is excessive.
