They keep calling me at least 5 times a day. They keep trying to take money from my account every week. I've asked them to stop and they won't. It's getting out of hand how much they keep calling me.

I have had 2 loans with Check n Go. The first one I paid off fairly quicky and then I went back a few weeks later and got another one for some extra money for Christmas. Well, about the end of March I lost my job. I communicated with them and I told them that I was really trying. They kept trying to pull money out of my account and I asked them to stop because there was no money for them to take. Well, it is now September and I have not heard from anyone in a few months, well just this evening I received a call from an 843 area code and it was a girl named Alison. I explained to her that I cannot pay and she started asking me questions like "who helps you with your bills" I told her that I was not giving any information and told her to have a nice day. She then proceeded to call and harass my mother who has nothing to do with anything. What can I do?

Today (1/29/2018) I received a call from a local number stating that I had an aggravated complaint against me. Well they also called my sister in law and left a message for me saying I had a bank fraud charge against me. Well when I returned their call they transferred me like 4 times and that last lady I spoke to which didn’t even speak English (I’m fluent in Spanish) told me that I was being sued by Check n go for a loan from 2013 and that they where going to send law enforcement to pick me up from home or work today!

I had a loan through Check'N Go and while I'd like to get this resolved. Ive had collectors calling from The Nam Group and Matterhorn Peak & Associates. Wasnt able to verify their legtimacy etc.. I recently spoke to the original store where I took the loan out from. I was told to call the collections dept of Check 'N Go. They told me who they sold the debt to. I called the first company and they were helpful and gave me the info for the company they sold the debt to. I called DFF & Associates ( also not able to find any relevant/verifiable company info) and a man amswered and stated he was the "answering service" for DFF & Associates. I requested someone call me regarding the debt that was over 2-3 weeks ago-NO phone call...

I got money from check n go back in august for something fast. I had to pay off a few more items in order to pay them back next. They started harassing me and tell me they were going to file an order against me for $500. I paid $249 and i have one more payment left. They keep calling me every 5 minutes and they got a hold of my moms husband harassing him next when he has nothing to so with it. They call me off several different numbers and don’t understand that other things need to be paid and im frustrated hearing all the threats from them.

On Friday (5/5/2023) I received a phone call from (956) 633-1223 it shows from Santa Rosa, Texas. He claims he is a Hoffman and Associates , I think he said the middle part was Corn. All the same even Hoffman and Associates doesn’t fit as they are real estate lawyers. Anyway he claims we owe almost $4,000 to check n go when the original loan was for about $1100 back in 2017!!!!!!! Sadly we defaulted after a few payments due to a job change and we never heard a single word other than a few calls back then. This person from this “law firm” knows all the information and claims over $2300 in interest and is very adamant we settle this right away. They were to send info to my husbands email for “docu sign” yet nothing came , supposed to call today (5/8/23) at 4pm as we are in Illinois, already called this morning bothering me. I don’t know what to do it’s been 6 years!!!!!!! I’m not able to find any info on this place and I don’t want to deal with court . I explained over and over that I do not have the over $1,000 right now , he sighed and seemed annoyed and said his client wanted to settle this matter today , I said I couldn’t afford over $50 a month then he got mildly annoyed and upset “don’t you know long it’s going to take to pay it off that way “ really???? I would think payment of any kind weekly or monthly would be fine as they can’t keep charging me interest . What should we do ? We are a low income household , we have a mortgage to pay , etc , the same as anyone else . Do I ask them not to call again?

In 2015, I took out a $425 payday loan through Check ’n Go in Bellevue, Nebraska. I paid the loan in full with a money order and never used their services again. Around 2017, the alleged debt was sent to collections. I successfully disputed it with the collection agency by providing proof of payment, and I never heard from Check ’n Go or that collection agency again. Beginning around 2019, however, I started receiving calls from different collection agencies claiming that I still owed the original $425, plus additional fees. Over time, some of these companies have claimed that I now owe thousands of dollars because of accumulated interest, collection costs, and alleged legal fees. Since then, this has continued intermittently, with different agencies contacting me approximately three or four times per year. The calls have included threats of arrest and, in some instances, threats of violence or physical altercation. These agencies have also contacted my parents and wife, despite having my own contact information, phone numbers, employment information, and even my Social Security number. Just yesterday, I received another call from a new collection agency threatening me with arrest over this alleged debt. I am exhausted by the ongoing harassment and concerned about how this information continues to be circulated among different collection agencies. I would like to know whether there is anything that can be done to stop this harassment and whether Check ’n Go may be responsible for the repeated collection attempts and continued dissemination of this information. I am also concerned about how a $425 debt that I paid years ago could supposedly grow into thousands of dollars through interest, collection fees, and alleged legal fees.
