Hi Elisabeth. I'll give you a call to discuss your Fifth Third Bank loan and what options you have with your car. Thanks, Mike
My car loan with fifth third bank was charged off last year. I forgot to update my contact information & didn’t realize my payments were not being taken out. The day they go ahold of me I had to pay the late balance in by 5pm in cash. I didn’t have the cash, or ability to get it together in such short notice. After the loan was charged off they said my only options were to pay the loan in full or turn over the car. I’m still have the car & have been trying to figure out how to get out of this & still get to work everyday.
I’m reaching out to see if I have any rights. Or if I have to turn the car in & move on.

Hi Dawn. The number you're getting calls from is from Fifth Third Bank. Do you have an account with them that they could be contacting you about? Have you answered the calls? If you'd like to get the calls to stop, reach out. Thanks, Mike
I keep getting calls from 5/3rd from this number
Asking for more information because of a “late” mortgage payment to Fifth-third Bank
I receive about 4-6 calls from 1-800-240-8151 per day!
They keep calling me at my job at less (4)yomes day

Hi Andy. Is the primary signer on the auto loan behind on it? If you are the cosigner and the primary signer is behind, the bank does have the right to contact you for payment even if you have no legal right to the car. Give me a call at 312-224-4695 and we can discuss this further. Thanks, Mike

Hi Denise. These types of calls are robocalls. Do you have an account or business with 5th 3rd Bank? I'm going to give you a call so we can discuss why they're calling and how you can get them to stop. Thanks, Mike

Hi Jennifer. That number is one that is associated with 5th 3rd Bank and could indeed be legitimate. Did the branch manager have any insight as to why they were calling you? If not, my law firm can help sort it out. Give us a call at 312-224-4695 and I will reach out to you as well. Thanks, Mike

Hi John. You're correct, I do not represent 5th 3rd Bank, instead I represent consumers. I will reach out to you to discuss the issues you're having and we can chat more. Thanks, Mike
I reached out to earlier via chat. At that time I thought your represented 5th 3rd Bank, now I know better. Please email me to see if you can help with the calls and if you know when/how 5th 3rd updates credit history.
Get called everyday 2-5 times a day and when i pick up theres no one on the other side. i have a 5/3 account but everything is up to date
Received several calls from this number 800-240-8151 every day for the past week. I don' t even have an account with Fifth Third. This is very annoying and I would like it stopped and compensated.
I have been getting multiple calls a day from 18002408151. About 8 to 12 calls a day. The caller claims to be from 53 bank. When I went to the nearest 53 branch location to talk about this caller, the branch manager stated it's a legit caller. I believe that to be untrue. Is it a scam?
I received a call from 18002408151 multiple times after paying my payment
I get a call from this number everyday at varying times. The one time I did answer this number it was a automated system.
800–2 40–8151 keeps calling me. Sometimes it is a recorded announcement from 5/3 and sometimes there is nobody there.
18002408151. Number keeps calling, also other numbers from fifth third bank. Some leave messages some don't. I am a cosigner on an auto loan that they bought up.
Number continues to call multiple times a day with leaving a message.
Even though I realize that my mortgage payment to 5th3rd is due on the first of the month, I have often used the entire grace period (the 1st of the month to the 15th) before I have all the funds to pay. In the last couple of months, since my SS check arrives on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, which often happens to be after the 15th of the month, I have had to pay my mortgage (including the taxes and insurance fees) after the 15th but always before the 30 day limit. But as soon as the 15th comes, I get 3 to 5 calls each day regarding my mortgage payment until I am able to pay it (even though I know that I incur a $37.00 fee if the payment is made after the 15th of the month). When I call to explain this, I am treated with respect and with a bit of patronized scolding about the due date of the mortgage which I am well aware of. My attorney has assured me that as long as the mortgage is paid before the 30 day period is passed, I am not considered late but will be charged the fee for being past the 15 day grace period. I've asked 5th3rd mortgage representatives to stop the calls since I will be paying the mortgage when my SS check arrives, but they've said that the robocalls will continue because they have me in the system of unpaid mortgage payments and that can't be changed. Is there anything that can be done to stop the incessant calls?
