Hi John. These post-lease inspections can definitely go badly for consumers, no matter who the car manufacturer/dealer is. Do you have the list of damages that they are claiming was wrong with the vehicle? If so, you can email that over to me at michael@agrusslawfirm.com. I can review it and then give you a call to chat. Thanks, Mike

Hi Kayte. If you're looking for assistance in dealing with Volkswagen Credit and the rental car that they are claiming is damaged, I'd be happy to speak with you. I will reach out to the number you have provided, but you can also reach me sooner at 312 300 5996. Thanks, Mike
I gave them back my rental car (took pictures) and they claimed it was damaged and I owed them a ridiculous amount of money for repairs. No so, but they arew hounding me.
Volkswagen Credit was paid by the dealer . Car was turned in early and dealer paid all remaining balance . Car was also turned in under miles and early . I am actually owed return of premium for un-used portion. I have sent notice . Please stop calling me . Volkswagen was paid and made profit either way.
Car accident in 2019 Volkswagen was totaled. The car was a lease Insurance covered the loss and there was gap insurance. They call me at least 15 times a day and send me mail from all different debt collection company's claiming I owe over 5,000$ and threatening to take my tax return. I do NOT owe VW credit money my insurance company paid them out.
I keep getting calls 5-6 times a day starting at 8 am literally harassing me!! The fact that this is okay is completely absurd to me
My car was totalled and GAP coverage covered the vehicle but the calls will not stop. Multiple times a day.
In January 2018 my VW was stollen. It was reported to SDPD as well as Progressive Insurance. MY VW had gap insurance on it as well as gap insurance with Progressive. VW was suppose to come inspect the auto before it was turned in . A date was set up at my sons work and they never showed up. They stated they were there but on one was at home. Well it was a car dealership and they were to be there I believe at 5:30 and did not show. I called VW to set up another appointment and no one called me back. Shortly after the car was due to be turned in - the auto was stolen. Progressive sent me a FED EX envelope and wanted the spare keys and paperwork that I completed. I sent this back to them in there envelope which they said they never received. They wanted my phone records and made my son and I take depositions. My son admitted to them that he may have left the keys in the car. In any event - I notified VW and asked them to go to the gap insurance company. They have now put a $24,000+ write off on my credit. I am soon to be 70 and quite frankly do not need this aggravation they now call me every day and sometimes 2x a day never leaving messages!
I screen my calls so leave a message and I’ll return your call.
In December 2017 I was involved in an accident where I was rear ended and forced into another vehicle. My car was totaled, however volkswagen claims i still owe them payments!
I have not answered the call as I thought it was a robocall. But if it's VW, then it's probably Audi regarding the lease on my 2014 Audi 8L which was turned in over a year ago. They did not schedule an inspection before I turned in the car. 2-3 days later they finally inspected it and came up with a list of damages which I believe was mostly bogus. I made a partial payment to cover the legitimate items, a missing license plate holder and the lease termination fee. The remaining items dealt with tire wear and body work. The car was never in an accident and I have a clean history of turning in cars for over 30 years. After the 3 year lease the car had very low mileage and they gained thousands of dollars in equity from the car's value versus its residual value. I took photos of the tire tread before turn in knowing that some car manufacturers try to scam you on tire wear!
My VW Jetta was repossessed in January of 2017. Since then, I receive multiple calls daily from VW Credit. I'm not sure if it is harassment, but I have asked them to communicate through the mail exclusively, because as an insurance agent, my phone cannot be tied up on collection calls!
This number calls and doesn't say anything
This is a debt collectors that harrass people
