I filed a complaint against Sallie Mae in May of 2008. and my credit report reflects that Sallie Mae is trying to make the same amount reoccur on the remaining loan amounts. I have called them several times to give them my current address 2633 tucker Valley road Tucker,GA 30084 since filing in May 2008 However the address they use on file 8 20th Ave S Birmingham,AL 35205 is my grandmother’s addy. She keeps all my mail and there is no correspondence from Sallie Mae; t nothing ever was received after the dispute form Sallie Mae. I have called for deferment forms to be sent and they never sent they. Now I have pulled 2 credit report that are as follows: acct- original amount: $5,100.00 Dec.2005 (Equifax,Experian) became $11,460.00- Oct.,2011 but Sept.2011 a collection bill came for $15,980.37(final notice) however on (Equifax) Jan. 2013 the acct has a $12,602.00 amount with a charge off of $7,789.00 and a past due amount $9,824, no bills were sent out prior to collection and they had my GA addy the whole time; Sallie Mae’s collection agency stated they didn’t have a current addy when I called them 01-08-2013 but I have a collection bill from them dated 11-16-2011 (redline recovery). Acct- original amount: $1,850 Aug.2005 (Equifax,Experian) became $4,355-Sept 2011; now is reported as: $4,786 charge off $2,968 with $3,710 past due Dec. 31, 2012. Acct- original amount: $1,320 02-2006(Equifax,Experian) became $1,708 only $270 past due Sept. 2011 now is reflected as 120+ days past due comments stated “Claim Filed with Government. Balance paid or being paid by insurance company Mar.31, 2012 this shouldn’t be past due on my credit report 01-2013. Acct-original amount: $1,155 (Equifax,Experian) became $1,316- Sept. 2011 $207 past due. Now reflecting 120+ days past due comment are ” Claim Filed with Government. Balance is being paid by insurance company on my credit report 01-2013. This activity is fraudulent and has been since May of 2008. The amount of all 4 of my loans before interest was $9,425 total which was broken up over a 2 year period. The amount for this loan is on $5,100 before interest. if these figures are correct that means that Sallie Mae has charged me about $1,000 a year in interest if they are reporting $15,980.3 not totally just for one of the loans on these loans since I graduated from Sanford Brown Institute in April of 2006. No way this is even possible.
