I am the cosigner of student loans for my son Nicholas. He recently graduated in 12/2011. He started to work in 2012, but was unable to keep up payments. After several phone calls from Navient, Nick was able to work out a new adjusted payment plan, with lower interest, in which Sallie Mae automatically deducts each payment every month. This started in August and seemed to work fine for a couple of months. YET, we continue to get annoying pestering phone calls from Sallie Mae saying that we are behind in our payments. We continually keep telling Sallie Mae , no we are not. Nick’s new plan calls for automatic deductions. IT is never the same person that calls from Navient. I have personally talked to Kieth Jones, Max, Ashley, Sharon, an Indian woman I could not understand, and today I talked to Casey. It seems to us that nobody has the same data base in their computer system. Since Nick made arrangements to have this new payment system put in to place, shouldn’t all of the computers at Sallie Mae show this? Why are they continuing to call?
