Bonneville collections served a summons and petition on our son at home when we were not there. They did not ask if he was 18 or over or have him sign any papers that he was served. We went into their office and agree to pay the remaining balance owed plus interest in full and they refused payment. They stated we owed $366 in attorney fees and the case has not even gone to court yet and they would not accept anything less in payment than the amount due plus attorney fees. When we asked them to provide us with a written statement that they were refusing payment they denied our request and threatened to call the police on us. We did not get any letters in the mail demanding payment or any phone calls of the payment due from Bonneville collections. How can they charge attorney fees before they are even set in a judgment by a judge or court ordered? Yet they can collect attorney fees at their office with out going to court in Idaho? Is this legal?

Just doing research on bonneville collections regarding possible re aging a 2001 lawsuit as will as attempting to collect more than I owe. On the lawsuit from 2001 they are all the sudden attempting to collect on it, this is after I had a chapter 7 bankruptcy discharge in 2004, I'm not sure if they where included in it. the amounts that I currently am concerned about are based on my responsibility from Humana a Medicare policy. Insurance is telling me I owe a copay a lot less than what BC is trying to collect!

Not sure. Lost really. Been Paying to Bonneville collections for almost a year. Spoke with the bank to get an amount of what was sent. They said they charged it off in 2009 in the amount of 6423.00. I just spoke with Bonneville they said my half was 4582 as the remaining. I don't feel this right. This was for cosigning on a loan. I got another piece of information that they split the amount in half. and the person I signed for his amount is close to 6000. How can this be even with interest!

I'm being sued by Bonneville Collections over 3 bills I've never even seen. They also said they mailed demand to pay letters to me which they never did. This place is dirty and I have 2 children I'm the sole provider for. All because I questioned them on my credit report.

Bonniville Collection Stated they had Sommons served at my last known address back sept 2019. This was impossible due to the house being vacant I have text message and cleaning receipt for property clean out . I hadn’t lived at the address for 2 yrs. my son lived in the house but I had moved out. They did not serve me with anything ! I found out about judgment in dec 2019. I saw Oder to garnish end of nov 2019. I went to court house and files a motion to dissmiss so I could ans the summons that I didn’t know about. Judge denied. It’s my understanding I have 6 months to Appeal the judgment . I just received the garnishment on my wages 3 days ago which when I called they said I had 14 days to respond from mailing date stamp . So I only technically had 3 days . The amount of the garnishment will cause a hardship for me . It was for a power bill my son didn’t pay that was in my name. 800.00 now the garnishment is for 1560.00. Please help! I have a ton o proof I didn’t live there !

I called them on March 29th, 2019 at 4:03pm MST and asked them not to call me anymore. I have a recording of the phone call. They have called me 12 times since then and left two voicemails (one was a hangup but from the 800-760-0860 number). I can submit those as well. It's a person calling and not an automated message. They have also stated calling my husband. Is there anything that can be done?
