How can I stop Navient from harassing me, my family, and even old employers. They left me a nasty message tonight saying that I have made no attempt to pay my loan so have til thursday to pay. My father has tried to make payment arrangements but they want to take it directly out of his checking account and he does not want to do that. what can I do? I had to get loans for college through sally mae. I started getting letters from Navient in August saying that I was behind on my loans and I needed to make them current. i have called them several times to work things out but they are just plain nasty. they just keep threatening me. i owe 21,000.
