I contacted Navient after discovering there was an unauthorized inquiry on my credit profile on July 7, 2012 that I never authorized them to do on my behalf. I contacted the Federal Trade Commission to make a compliant and they asked me to contact BBB and the creditor before filing such action for Violation of Fair Credit Reporting. I reached out to Sallie Mae via telephone and they advise me to send them a letter requesting that the entry be deleted from all 3 major credit bureaus. I received notice dated December 27 2012 advising me that they had conducted there investigation and that the entry from there organization would not be removed. I need them to present something from me in writing that I authorized them to make such inquiry on my credit profile. Anyone can call in and say that they are a particular person and have there credit. They were in violation of pulling my credit in the first place without contacting me via telephone as my credit report says before running or extending credit on my behalf. If this matter is not rectified at this level, I will proceed to the next step.
