I had a question regarding a call with Navient yesterday. My wife spoke with someone last month because she just started a new job with less pay. They put her loans on forbearance until October. We received an email yesterday saying an automatic debit was coming out this week. She called yesterday and was told basically “we can’t stop the payment once it starts” even though they made the mistake. Then, she turned in paperwork last month for an IBR plan and was told on the phone “since you’re going through this, I see the paperwork here on my desk. I will make sure it goes through today.” So they were just sitting on it basically.
