This company has been harrassing and threatening A relative of mine. She speaks very little english and has asked me for help as she is being told By collectors that she will lose her house and get arrested for non payment. Please call me as she Was recently mailed a letter Threatening law suit for fraud even though the debt is not hers. Thank you.
I have been with them subpoenaing my personnel file from my job and told to get a loan from the equity from my home.

Was served to appear in court by investment retrievers at and old address default judgement was rendered and my bank account was froze and levied.
Have a default judgement against me from Investment Retrievers, and I have an up coming court date where they want to see my bank statements and last 2 years tax returns!
My name is Tim. I was sued by IR for a business loan, which was an S-corp, I defaulted on back in 2010 I think, I since closed that company back in 2016, but it was re-opened in 2017 under an LLC. I recently received paperwork from them again, that they have interest of $11000.00 and have the name of my bank that I deal with now, can they go after that account and the new Llc which has new partners?!
I am getting ready to deal with an issue that Investment Retrievers did a while back and unlawfully took funds from me. Basically I had an old debt from my business line of credit which was over 10 years and they sent letters to my old address and thus had no idea on what they were planning then they put a hold on my acct. and took over $6500. Plus I am still paying them $100 per month. Basically that is it, and I am now retired as of the first of this year. I shall await talking to whoever can put an end to all this.Thanks!
I'm not sure what is going on. I just got notice that Investment Retrievers pulled my credit report, but I do not know what debt they are trying to collect (I have many). SO I don't know if there is anything to be done now, or just wait and see what happens!
More than a year ago, I was not severed right from by sending letters to an old address in, which resulted in getting the court to rule in the favor of investment retrievers, on a debt I had with Wels Fargo more than 15 years ago, the statute of limitation here was to be applied. If I was served right I would have gone to the court to address this in person. They ended up taking more than $6500 from my bank, and at that time I was still working, and they also took $100 each month for one year, which I just didn't have the time to deal with them. But now I am retired as of the begging of this year. So can deal with them, I have stopped that payment which I feel the whole issue was not right!
