I’ve been having merchant credit association calling me for what seems like two years and I’ve asked for documentation for the medical bills. They say I owe as I do not recognize the Dr’s names. I do have a lot of medical issues and pay my bills, but I do not recognize these doctors names And the people that call can’t tell me what the services were for and I’ve requested them to send me documentation so I can make sure I actually owe these doctors bills, but have never received it and now I was serve paperwork with the lawsuit.. it’s not much the total amount is $958.12 but I don’t wanna pay a bill that I don’t owe and I don’t feel like I should have to pay penalties and interest when I’ve been requesting information to confirm these debts not sure if you can help or not

Re: Case No. [Case Number] - Merchants Credit Corporation v. Dewey H. Burns
Dear Mr. O\'Meara,
I am writing in response to the summons I received concerning the aforementioned case number, where I am the defendant. I contest the allegations made by Merchants Credit Corporation regarding medical services purportedly provided to me.
I do not recognize the doctors referenced and have no recollection of receiving services from them on the specified occasions. Therefore, I request documented proof from your client showing that these services were performed and appropriately authorized. Specifically, I ask for the following:
1. Full names and official capacities of the doctors who allegedly performed these services.
2. Exact times, dates, and locations where the services took place.
3. Copies of any signed agreements, authorizations, or consent forms related to the services.
4. An itemized list of the services provided, along with billing reports.
Despite making two formal requests via phone previously for this documentation, I have yet to receive any response or substantiation of the claims.
I respectfully ask the court to mandate the provision of this documentation, allowing me proper time to verify the legitimacy of these claims before proceeding with this case.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to resolving it transparently and fairly.
Sincerely,
Dewey H. Burns
