I have 2 cases for them in the system for two years now. I send in exemptions for them every time they send back to the employer. every few months the resend to the court to get a new garnishment and add a hundred or so dollars each time to the total. in June of 2023 I received a copy of a letter stating that my work should cease all further with holding pursuant to garnishment but never said why. The other case they have been more aggressive with because I originally made the mistake of sending back a response to the court explaining why I can not pay but that just made the case longer and made it look like I was opposing it. The are now trying to garnish me again. I have no more money now than I did then, less even. If they garnish me I will lose my housing because I am already 2 month behind and I see no end in sight. I have not shopped for groceries in a month and when I did I used Klarna - pay in four services because I did not have enough money. I have so many medical bills that I can not pay and they are not ever this aggressive. I forgot to say that I did pay a lump of $1400 between the 2 (I borrowed the money from my father and I still owe him all of that) in the beginning. and made payment arragements but they were so aggressive with me and convinced me that I had no other option to but to pay the amount they wanted me to even though I told them I could not, that I had very little extra money. So in the end I could not even make the first agreed unpon payment. These cards were originally around 300 - 500 limit on them and now some how the totals were over $3000. When this happened, my husband had gotten Covid which then brought on a blood disease and he almost died. I spent months in the hospital. I could no longer make payment on my car and everything. Then in October of that year my son got Covid and if bought out the same disease as my husband so I was caring for two people with limited EVERYTHING. I told them that, of course they did not care. Is there anything I can do.
