A Chicago police officer and two other people were hurt in a crash Tuesday morning in the Englewood area on the South Side. A red sedan was driving east on 72nd Street when it struck a Chevy Trailblazer and hit a police SUV at around 12:30 am.
The officer suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. The drivers of the other vehicles were taken to Holy Cross Hospital with minor injuries with citations pending, according to police.
