I got a phone call today from this number. 785-271-1000.Immediately they wanted me to verify who I was and my address. I asked who was calling, and the man would only give me his name which was Shawn Walker. I ask who or what company he was with and he would not give it to me. I told him I did not know who he was and he said ok and hung up. I researched the number and found it belonged to Berlin-Wheeler of Topeka, Kansas. After reading reviews on this company, I felt like I was being spammed somehow as I have no reason to have any communication with Berlin-Wheeler. I felt like the operator was after more information and when he realized I was not going to give it to him, he ended the conversation.
Hello, recently I was reviewing my credit report and noticed a collection from Berlin WHR .. Turned out it was an old Kansas Gas bill from 2009. It showed on my report for $376.00 an old bill my ex husband never paid and now I am stuck with. So, I was going to bite the bullet and pay it to get it off my report since it is negatively effecting my credit, however when I called and spoke with a rep @ Berlin she informed me that the amount was actually 5 hundred and something dollars because they added interest. This is where I am confused. It is only showing on my report as 376.00 do I have to pay that interest? Is that even legal? After complaining about the interest she said she could reduce it by 20% which still was over 500.00 .. Any suggestions? Thanks
Berlin-Wheeler calls constantly -- however, I have never been in debt to anyone and I currently don't have an unpaid debt. CoxHealth, I believe, wrongfully attached my name to someone's debt and passed it on to Berlin. I contacted CoxHealth, springfield, MO several times asking them to unattach my name but to no avail. I have since contacted the MO. Attorney General asking them to get Cox to do something. I'm a senior and I'm afraid this is going to affect my credit.
This collecting company called me for a bill from Cox and had told me the money I owed was $265, which I set a date to pay.... I check my account and saw they charged $245...called Cox , who had told me my actual bill was $225. Why wasn't I given the right amount due? TWICE??
The debt was already paid and they have still called me harrassing me about the debt and stating i never paid it

This company has called me many times... Late at night early in the morning and even on the weekends. Anytime I answer they will not tell me who they are they just ask for my name and address, I do not give it to them because I do not know what they want or who they are. But if I let them leave a message on voicemail they tell me the name of the company but it is all an automated message. I am tired of the harassment calls.
My family members are being harassed several times a day at all hours of the day by a company called Berlin-Wheeler for a debt that does not belong to them. They have told this company to stop call but the calls continue. We are seeking advise at this point!

For some strange reason I have 3 cable bills in my name at the same address at different times 2010 just don't make no sense now how do I go about it as of today
I have no ideal why they keep calling me. I don't answer because I do not return calls like this over the phone. They need to send official letters stating their intentions and why they are calling!
I never answered their phone calls but they leave very threatening voice-mail messages. I know I don't owe anyone anything!

Berlin Wheeler calls at least 10 times a day. As of late, they have even been calling outside of legal calling hours. They call past 9PM Central Time and before 8AM, including this very morning. I have spoken to them at least once. When I did, the person immediately asked me who I was. I reminded him that he had called me. He was very threatening, and rude. The debt that this is over is an injustice anyway. It is a debt incurred by DirectTV's dishonest, and inconsistent business practices, and their sliding pay amounts. We paid all but one month, every penny. They said our bill was $600. We paid that Dec 6 , 2016. They then transferred me to another department, where I had to pay an additional 600-700 dollars. This in addition to having paid our bill all year. Then, after waiting a month to have our service restored, They said that they needed more money (several more hundreds).... We switched to Sling tv and Roku by January 2017. They sometimes spoof their number, as American, or Delta Airlines, and that's what my Mr. Number application on my Android phone displays for caller ID. Yet , they call all day, every day, nonstop. I had to set my mr number app to pick up then hang up any number not in my contacts, which is a hindrance to me, and prevents legitimate, new callers from ever reaching me. If necessary, I could install an app from the Play store, and record them, as evidence. It has been over a year, and they will not let me rest. At this point, I think that the calls are more about being vindictive, rather than anything else. If your firm could help me, I am willing to do whatever is necessary, in order to see these people held accountable for their actions.

Alright well to keep it short. I started an account with cox internet and cancelled my subscription. They still sent me the router and i couldn't return it for a couple months and was paying rental fees. After talking to their reps and store manager i would owe them nothing but i still have around $20 to pay them. Then Berlin Wheeler started calling me a few times and now have lowered my credit score by around 30 points with a derogatory mark and i'd like to fix all of this!
I need some help with Money that was taken out of my Bank account with Berlin-Wheeler. I have no idea why. Never gave them my account #. Just looked at my Bank Account, and noticed this Berlin-Wheeler too out $431.28 out of my acct. Don't know who they are nor how they got this information!
Berlin-Wheeler, turned in a poultry $26 into my credit report claiming I was refusing to pay. I had three surgical procedure in three years running well over $200,000. I did not pay this obscure charge because I was unaware I owed it! My AETNA insurance require I have a deductible of $1,500, 80%/20 for the next $3,000 maximum , then 100% paid after that. I have been reaching that paid maximum fro the last three year. Since no mail was sent to my house via certified mail, there is no definitive proof I knew of the debt; plus, that Dr. Axe of Overland Park was evidently partially paid. My wife and I have had a lot of bad luck with our health the last few years:so, it has been hard keeping track of it all. I did call up this agency and pay it off, but they refuse to remove this from the collection activity from my credit bureau report. I have more than enough money to pay this debt. Other creditors have just called me. I have verified the healthcare debt and paid it,
My phone recorded a voice message from Berlin. No name was given as to who they are looking for. I returned the call and explained the call was made to my number, no name was mentioned. They still wanted my name. I refused to give them my name so they hung up on me. I know of no bad debt I have with anyone. But, a person in Topeka, Ks was using my phone to arrange transportation in Topeka. Can that person charge to me just by using my phone number?
