I have a debt with a local hospital. I found this out from my credit report. So i called the hospital to settle. They said they said it went to collection and gave me med rev's number. So i called I explained the problem and asked for a bill so that i had something for my records. With all the illegal companies you can’t be too careful. They said they sent something so I explained I never got a bill or letter or anything, and that I only knew of the debt from my credit report. They yelled at me swore at me told me i was even lying and refused to send me a new bill. So i explained I will not pay until I get a bill and hung up. I called the hospital and explained as well their response was it’s out of our hands. Since I made that phone call to med rev I would receive 5 to 6 calls a day from a robocaller using multiple numbers and even voices. I called back one time to find out who it was and it was med rev. My guess would be they did not have my phone number until I called as I changed it since the hospital bills, and I calling gave them my number. I would like to know how I can file a complaint. All this harassment for less than 200.00 that I was willing to pay the day I made that first call.
