Chatham has stops at 79th Street, 83rd Street, and 87th Street on Metra’s Metra Electric commuter rail line, which provides daily service between downtown Chicago at Millennium Station and the southern destinations of University Park and Blue Island, as well as many CTA bus and train stops. The CTA Red Line stations at 79th and 87th also serve Chatham.

The area also has access to Divvy, Lyft/Uber rideshare services, and taxi services. Unfortunately, this means that rideshare accidents, pedestrian accidents, motor vehicle accidents, and public transportation accidents can be common in the area.

Attractions

Chatham is home to some activities and attractions, which include:

  • Tuley Park
  • West Chatham Park
  • Lorraine Dixon Park

While most of the time spent at these Chatham attractions will be enjoyable and uneventful, accidents can occur, including premises accidents, slip and falls, bicycle accidents, bus accidents, car accidents, drinking and driving, dog bites, and playground accidents.
