Introduction
Logan Square is located on the northwest side of Chicago and is centered on the public square that serves as its namesake, located at the three-way intersection of Milwaukee Avenue, Logan Boulevard and Kedzie Boulevard. The area is characterized by the prominent historical boulevards, stately greystones and large bungalow-style homes.
The neighborhoods of Belmont Gardens, Bucktown, Kosciuszko Park, and Palmer Square are considered part of Logan Square.
Transportation
Logan Square is serviced by Chicago public transportation including the Chicago “L” Blue Line, the MD-N Train, and Busses #56 and #76, as well as Lyft/Uber rideshare services and taxi services. Unfortunately, this means that rideshare accidents, pedestrian accidents, motor vehicle accidents, and public transportation accidents can be common in the area.

Neighborhoods
- Belmont Gardens
Belmont Gardens spans the Chicago Community Areas of Logan Square and Avondale with the boundaries of Pulaski Road to the East, the Union Pacific/Northwest rail line to the West, Belmont Avenue to the North, and Fullerton Avenue to the South.
- Bucktown
Bucktown is a neighborhood located in the east of the Logan Square community area in Chicago, directly north of Wicker Park, and northwest of the Loop. Bucktown gets its name from the large number of goats raised in the neighborhood during the 19th century when it was an integral part of the city’s famed Polish Downtown. The area is mostly residential, with a mixture of older single family homes, new buildings with edgy architecture, and converted industrial lofts. Bucktown has a significant shopping district on Damen Avenue, extending north from North Avenue (in Wicker Park) to Webster Avenue. The neighborhood is readily accessible via the Blue Line and has multiple access points to the elevated Bloomingdale Trail, also known as the 606.
- Kosciuszko Park
Kosciuszko Park, also known as “Koz Park” or “The Land of Koz”, has boundaries of Central Park Avenue to the East, Pulaski Road to the West, George Street to the North, and Altgeld to the South.

The neighborhood is named for Palmer Square Park, a large seven acre park on the western edge of the neighborhood. The area, with its vibrant character, bustling business corridor, easy access to transportation, and tree-lined streets makes it a diverse neighborhood.
Education
Logan Square students are primarily serviced by Chicago Public Schools and private schools, which include:
- Mozart Elementary School
- Goethe Elementary School

- Our Lady of Grace
- St. Johns Berchmans School

School bus accidents, gym and physical education accidents, lack of supervision, daycare accidents, playground injuries, and school district negligence are just a few examples of the types of school injury cases America’s Consumer Lawyer has experience with.
