Introduction

Printer’s Row, also known as Printing House Row, is a neighborhood located in the area of Chicago known as The Loop and includes Dearborn Station. While many of the buildings in the neighborhood were originally used as printing and publishing houses, they have been converted to residential lofts with the exception of one printer, Palmer Printer Jr.

Transportation

Printer’s Row is accessible via public transportation including the Chicago “L” Blue, Green, and Red Lines, the METRA Electric District, Rock Island District, UP-N, and UP-NW, as well as Busses # 146, #29, #3, and #62.

Printer’s Row residents also have access to Divvy rideshare bicycles, Lyft/Uber rideshare services, and taxi services. Unfortunately, this means that rideshare accidents, pedestrian accidents, motor vehicle accidents, and public transportation accidents can be common in the area.

Demographics

Printer’s Row has a population of 8,542 with a median household income of $99,137.

Printer’s Row lawyers at America’s Consumer Lawyer can assist residents with cases related to accidents, injuries, and health problems that may be related to serious issues, as well as issues such as bicycle accidents, dog bites, premises accidents, car accidents, public transportation accidents, and pedestrian accidents.

Education

Printer’s Row is primarily serviced by Chicago Public Schools including:

  • South Loop School
  • Phillips Academy High School

The area is also home to Roosevelt University, Columbia College, Robert Morris University, John Marshall Law School, and The Loop campus of DePaul University.

When sending your child off to school you assume they will remain safe, however this isn’t always the case. School bus accidents, gym and physical education accidents, lack of supervision, playground injuries, and school district negligence are just a few examples of the types of school injury cases America’s Consumer Lawyer has experience with.

Attractions

Printer’s Row is home to a handful of activities and attractions, which include:

  • Printer’s Row Park
  • Printer’s Row Lit Fest
  • Museum of Contemporary Photography

While most of the time spent at these attractions will be enjoyable and uneventful, accidents can occur, including slip and falls, bicycle accidents, bus accidents, car accidents, drinking and driving, dog bites, and playground accidents.
