Not 100% sure it’s 24 hour fitness since I haven’t picked up and they haven’t left any messages, but I’ve been called from this number 4 times in 4 days. I noticed they previously have tried to charge one of my accounts $399.99 at least 6 times but it’s failed each time because I froze it a while ago. I have email confirmation of my subscription cancellations from last September. Curious if other people have been charged for renewal incorrectly after having already canceled online
Keep getting calls with no explanation
They are calling me I don’t even had ever an account with that gym, didn’t even know it existed

Hi Allyson. Gym memberships are some of the hardest memberships to get out of and unfortunately, the troubles can continue even if you do everything right. I have helped many consumers who struggled to get their gym memberships resolved and I would be happy to speak with you to see if I can help you as well. I will be in touch, but you can also reach me at 312 300 5996. Thanks, Mike

I am constantly getting calls from this number even though I canceled this service. Even after I canceled I was still getting billed, but fortunately, I am getting a refund. So I know for a fact that I do not owe any money so there is no need for your office to keep contacting me.
Cancelled in person at the gym. Have received spam like amounts of calls stating we owe them money.

Hi Ray. I have had similar complaints against 24 Hour Fitness members who thought their memberships were frozen, yet they continue to be pursued from the financial department. It is not illegal for any debt collector to contact your friends and family to find your whereabouts, however they cannot threaten you or provide those that they call with any personal information. We can talk more about this when I give you a call. Thanks, Mike

Hi Adriana. If you're unsure about your payments to Richard West, you should ask him to provide you with receipts of payments or a debt validation letter. Let me help you with this. Give me a call so we can determine if this is legitimate or if you're being scammed. Thanks, Mike

Hi Matt. Gym memberships are some of the most difficult relationships to end; we hear so many stories similar to yours at my office. Do you have your original contract with 24 Hour Fitness to see how you can end your contract? Typically ending a gym membership isn't done over the phone, but instead involves a certified letter sent to the main office. If you have the original contract, you can send that over to me at
[email protected] and I will review it and contact you about resolving this issue. Thanks, Mike

Hi Jonathan. Did you ever have a gym membership with 24 Hour Fitness? If so, were you late with a payment to them? That number is associated with 24 Hour Fitness and they typically contact you when you are late on your monthly dues/membership fee. I can help you to get these calls halted--give me a call. Let's chat about your issues with 24 Hour Fitness and the best way to deal with them. Thanks, Mike

Hi Tiffany. Let's talk about the constant calls you're receiving. What times are they calling? If it is before 8am or after 9pm, or they are calling excessively and it is affecting your daily life, you could be entitled to compensation. Give me a call to discuss your options under the law. Thanks, Mike

Hi Tiffany. Once they received payment, they continued to call you? Did they state why they're continuing to call if they've been paid? I'm sure it is frustrating, especially when you are caught up. Let's talk more about this and how you can get those calls from 24 Hour Fitness to stop. I will give you a call or you can reach my office at 888-572-0176. Thanks, Mike

Hi Patrick. This is a common complaint about gym memberships--it is extremely easy to sign up, but cancelling is another matter altogether. I will give you a call to discuss how you can get this resolved. Thanks, Mike
Cancelled my membership a long time ago, still got charged. Couldn't get ahold of anyone to stop it and my gym closed down, so I cancelled payments. I just got a collection phone call I think, but didn't answer.
I have a month-to-month contract with them. I opened a new bank account. forgot to pay and within a day of not paying (finally paid today) they have been calling me non-stop everyday. I have never been delinquent in all the years I have been with them.
I already submitted a inquiry regarding this but I think I put the wrong email address.
They call me day and night non-stop. I have a month-to-month contract.

I've been a member of 24hr Fitness since they bought out Gold's Gym and Gold's became 24hr Fitness, 23 years ago. I moved back to Boise from Southern California and there is no 24hr Fitness here. When I moved back, 24 hr Fitness told me that they would put a " Medical Hold " on my membership for 6 months in order for me to decide if I would want to keep my membership. I agreed to this because I've had my membership for so long and I didn't know if they would open a gym up here in Boise, in the near future. They called me and I called them back a couple months back and explained to them that there is no gym here and I haven't been able to use their gym since moving here last August. They said that I owed dues for November of 2018 and May of 2019. I explained about the " Medical Hold " and said I still owed for November and May. I explained to them that they don't even have a gym in Boise and that they can cancel my membership. They tried to have me pay $12 per month to put my membership back on a " Medical Hold ". They said I needed to pay the $38 to bring my membership current first. I explained to them that I didn't owe them $38 to begin with since my membership was on a " medical Hold " to begin with and they don't even have a gym in Boise. I could have paid the $38 but it was the point of the matter that I didn't owe it to them anyway. Especially since I was a member for 23 years. I ended the call by telling them to cancel it and the guy on the phone said he couldn't cancel it until I became current, so I said goodbye. I receive approx. 5 calls a day from 24hr fitness and even if I answer the phone, nobody is on the other end.
I have made payments to this man named Richard West and honestly I am not sure if it is a scam or what but it is constant calling and harassing. The 2-3 payments I have made I did not receive an invoice or receipt to show proof a debt is being paid that is again if they are who they claim to be!
I've been getting phone calls from this number, but I actively have been paying my bill. I have the bank statements to prove that I've been paying my 24 Hr Fitness bill every month. They never leave a message and it's starting to affect me as I suffer from Generalized Anxiety Disorder and phone calls are a trigger for me.
Number keeps harrassing me when my account is frozen. I do not owe them anything.
Number keeps calling me, my account is frozen, I dont know why they keep claiming my account keeps activating when I do not attend any gym sessions.
I cancelled my account and they won’t stop harassing me!!
24 hour fitness keeps calling me, can you stop them.
Hello. 855-283-3957 has been calling me for a while and now a lot of my family members are also getting called by that number with harassments, getting left voicemails saying that there is a case against me and threatening to call my employer to find out about my whereabouts. Your website says this is a 24 hour fitness financial department number, but right now my account is frozen so there is no way I can owe them any money. Please help, thank you
