Hi Mindy. They can call you more than once per day and they can call friends/family. There is no set number on the number of times they can call and they are permitted to call you between the hours of 8am-9pm. They are not permitted to harass you, your employees, friends/family, or disclose personal information about you to others. If they do so, they could be in violation of your rights and you may be entitled to compensation. We owe one of our vendors money. We are working on getting the money together to pay it. In the meantime, they sent it to C2c for collections. Today, the lady called my husband 4 times. The 4th time, he told her that he will be paying our vendor directly. She then called one of our employess on their cell phone (we own the cell, but she is just an employee) and left a message that we have written several bounced checks (not true at all) and basically that we need to pay or else. Can they call more than once a day? Can we pay our vendor directly and ignore them? Are they allowed to leave messages like that on an employee's voicemail?

Please communicate through emails Acorn petroleum closed my account because I got a fraud charge and my account was locked for two weeks back in July I began payment to them again and paid them by check that they deposited 8/13 for $500 8/24 for 400 9/20 for $300 and 10/5 for 200 C2C contacted me through email 9/21 saying I refused to pay acorn and that they were taking over threatened legal action and increased my amount that I actually owed by $600. C2C calls me as early as 6am and leaves voicemails constantly last week in a voicemail they said they were going to talk to another company That is my current fuel supplier to see how my account standing is with them.

Hi Francisco. Debt collectors are not permitted to call you before 8am in your time zone. If you have a log of them calling you that early, send it over to my email of [email protected]. It is not illegal for them to contact your friends and family, however they are only allowed to ask for contact information for you, they are not permitted to tell your friends or loved ones anything personal about your debt(s). They are also only permitted to call once, or they can call again if your friends/family give them the wrong information. We can talk about this when I give you a call. Thanks, Mike

C2C RESOURCES 678-495-0050 keeps calling my business asking to speak with me to my employees. They tell them we are not there and this is a store that we own. They are persistent and keep calling.
