Exceptional Experience

Hi Stephanie. I may be able to help you with your situation and I'd be happy to have a free, no-obligation consultation with you. I know how hard it can be to deal with these companies and it makes me happy to help consumers succeed against harassment and other violations of their rights under the FDCPA. I am going to contact you, but you can also reach out to me at 312 300 5996 at your earliest convenience. Thanks, Mike

They call at all hours and when I pick up they never say anything - never - so I don't know who is calling and will not wait longer than 10 seconds for someone to respond simply bc they are using an automated dialer. I have called the number back yet it just asks me to wait to be connected to an agent and occasionally says something about a, "high volume of calls.!" When their calls go to vm, no message is left - it just records silence for 1 minute and 2 seconds. Through my research online, I have found this is a bill collector. I am assuming it is regarding a debt I disputed with Kettering Hospital bc they charged me for a doctor's visit who did not see me on on one of the 3 days I was hospitalized. I questioned how he/they could bill for his service when I did not see him on the final day I was at the hospital and on the 2nd day, I had to tell him what I am certain my Cardiac Specialist had already noted in my chart (about testing and an angiogram) that was already scheduled for that day. Bc when he came into my room, he stated perhaps Cardio would be able to see me that day and schedule the test and procedure for the following day, however, they had came in the previous day and already had it scheduled for later that afternoon - so if he didn't even take the time to look at my chart at all, what is he being paid for if he was not keeping track of my overall medical care and needs during that hospitalization? I questioned the nursing staff while at the hospital about his inadequate level of care and the fact that I provided him with info available in my chart and the amount of time he spent in my room the 2nd day, which was less than 2 mins. They said he basically had to order the 2 medications I was on when I was admitted to the hospital so that I would continue to receive them...but that the rest of my orders came from my Cardiac Doctor. I also questioned Kettering about the initial bill I rec'd as he had billed for the day I provided him with the info in my chart and his less than 120 second visit to my room and for the day I was discharged - when I did not see him at all. They told me it would be looked into and I would receive an answer. I then proceeded to get a bill from a collection agency who said I had 30 days to dispute the bill, so I sent them a letter with the above information to their mailing address, as when I tried to call them, they always placed me on hold. Needless to say, they never responded to my letter and now I am being harrassed and aggravated by their calls when I have tried to address my concerns regarding the bill they sent 2 separate times. If you are able to assist in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
