Hi Cheryl. It is likely Central Portfolio Control contacting you about a possible debt. Do you know if you owe any debts to anyone? It doesn't have to be recent, debt collectors can continue to sell your debt off and try to collect on it indefinitely. We can discuss this when I give you a call. Thanks, Mike

Hi Abtin. Have you requested a debt validation letter to determine what the debt is in regard to? You can do so with a registered letter sent to Central Portfolio Control. Or, if you would just like the calls to stop, we can help with that as well. I will give you a call and we can discuss how. Thanks, Mike

Hi Sherry. Central Portfolio Control is a debt collection agency that could have purchased your debt from another lender. It isn't uncommon for debt collectors to contact friends and family when they're looking for you, however they are not permitted to harass your loved ones or divulge any personal information about you or your debt to them. If you need help in determining exactly why they're looking for you, my office can help. I will be in touch. Thanks, Mike

Hi Brian. I'm sorry that I can't give you specifics about the message from CPC, we don't represent them, but instead represent consumers like you. However, if CPC is contacting you, it is likely in regard to a debt. Do you know of any debts you could possibly owe? If you're unsure, you can find out with a debt validation letter. If they don't provide you with one, they could be in violation of your rights. Let's talk more about this and see if we can figure out why CPC is calling you. Reach out to my office at 888 572 0176; I look forward to speaking with you. Thanks, Mike

Hi Glynis. Debt collectors have many phone numbers for a few reasons. One, it makes completely blocking them almost impossible. And second, they use area codes that are local to you so that you are likely to be pushed into answering it as it appears local. If you are tired of dealing with calls from Central Portfolio Control, we can help. I will give you a call or you can contact my office at 888 572 0176. Thanks, Mike

Hi Krista. Do you have business with Central Portfolio Control that constitutes a contract? If you do, it may allow for them to text you, however I would need to see the contract you have with them. If you have a copy, you can send it over to my office at michael@agrusslawfirm.com. I will look it over and then give you a call to discuss your situation. Thanks, Mike

Hi Dottie. It doesn't surprise me that you dealt with rude behavior, debt collectors are not known for their sunny dispositions when they are attempting to collect on a debt. Unfortunately, debt collectors do not have to work with you, but you do have options in dealing with these calls. I will give you a call to discuss how. Thanks, Mike
I was sent a text, called them and the lady I talked to couldn't have been any ruder. She hung up on me when I said I couldn't pay and was asking if I could go online to pay when I got paid. She didn't even try to work with me and just hung up.
sent me a text message to call them I never gave them permission to text me.
If this company is so legitimate why do they have so many phone numbers???
I received a text message that there is an important message from CPC
