Hi Jana. It is not illegal for debt collectors to contact your friends/family. They are permitted to request reliable contact information for you, but they are not permitted to harass or disclose private information for you to your friends and family. They are also required to stop calling if requested to do so. What type of harassment are they dealing with from Collections Receivables INC? Let's talk more about these calls and if your rights have been violated. Reach out to my office at 888 572 0176. Thanks, Mike

Hi Aileen. If you have informed Collection Receivables INC that they cannot call you at work, they are required to stop. The law protects consumers from these types of calls and you do have options in dealing with them. I will reach out to you to discuss how. Thanks, Mike

Hi John. It is legal for debt collectors to contact others in an attempt to get accurate contact information for you. While it is frustrating and can be embarrassing, it isn't illegal. However, there are still rules that they must follow when doing this. I would be happy to speak with you about this and what you can do to deal with the phone calls. Give me a call at 888 572 0176. Thanks, Mike

Hi Theresa. Debt collectors are professionals at finding friends, family, and workplace information when they cannot get in contact with the person they are looking for. If you are sure the debt is not yours, you can dispute the debt and fortunately, the law protects you from frequent, harassing phone calls, especially at work. I would be happy to talk this over with you and I will give you a call to discuss your situation. Thanks, Mike

I do not have any accounts that are in collection, all my credit cards and mortgage is up to date and my car is paid off. I do not have any outstanding medical bills, and haven't even seen a doctor other than an optometrist since Jan 2020. I have nothing to my knowledge that is outstanding and I do not know why I am being called and harassed by calls everyday the past few months. The callers leave voicemails that only state their name, and they sound like they are a friend calling because of an emergency, they never stated a reason for the call. Honestly I thought it was a wrong number the first time, and then I thought it was a prank, recently I thought it might be for a car warranty call.

Continuous calls for a collection account that is not mine, as well as messages for my son, whom is 13 years old. There is no reason for them to be calling him. I received a call at my office today, which there is no reason for them to have the company I work for, or to have their number. It is plain and simply harassment, as well as stalking. I do not know how they would know where I work, or know my 13 year old son's name. It needs to stop now!

‭+1 (706) 736-6746‬ Continuous calls, leaves vague voice mail. I work nights and their calls constantly wake me while I should be sleeping. I have no idea why they are calling, when the first thins someone’s says is “is this Paul ____” I hang up. I am up to date on all my bills to my best knowledge. Recently divorced so something could have fallen through the cracks getting transferred, but I’ve received no mail informing me as such.

706.736.6746; they cussed my boss out and threatened me. My check for a dental service was lost in the mail and has since been sorted out between the dentist and I. Some crazy asshole named Beth Samuels called my job, myself, and my mother and acted as if someone had died. I called them back and they were rude, cursing at me, and treating me like I was a dog. I can't believe the level of disrespect they consider themselves, and I can't believe any professional business would use them. Good luck getting money out of people who ACTUALLY owe them, the way they speak to people is DISGUSTING and if I didn't love my dentist, I'd tell them both to shove it.

Collection Receivable threatedto take my money out of my account without my consent. I agreed at first but I changed to call in and make a payment to Dr. Argo for dental services. The representative grew hostile and so did I about taking my money. The supervisor stated that she will be drafting my money on February 28 of $104. I told them if they do, I am going to dispute it and I plan on changing my account.

I have received two calls from this number now AT WORK of all places. This is unacceptable. Both times I was left a very vague voicemail on my work line indicating that it was very important that I call back.
