My former landlord had a collection agency put a collection account on my credit report for repairs to the home that were needed when I moved in and wants me to pay for it. He didn't take me to court to get a judgment because the lease agreement was a sham.

Hello, well. I can't believe it, but it has to be to true. The number I looked up took me to your Web page advertisement. And yes I have been getting calls for 3 months. From phone numbers all over the US. Over 80 different numbers. And one number called me like a hundred times in a week. Who ever the debt collector was, is calling from a different VOIP number and when you call back, it just rings, or you get a message saying the technician is busy, It never leaves you anyway to find out who is calling and why they are calling. I blocked the 80 numbers but more calls still come in. I of course have a record of them in my phone bill. I never asked to be contacted by anyone. I never gave anyone permission to contact me. I have revived up words of over 15 calls a day some times. They call at real early times They call back to back. This number is on the national do not call list. Some times the call is a machine repeating a message. Some times the call is just bunch of noise and people talking in the background. Some times the call is absolutely quiet. I try to ask who is there but no one answers. So what do you suggest? Do you think all the 80 plus calls from different numbers is this same firm? Is there any way to determine if they are the ones who called me a hundred times in a week? I just block the calls. But this is a real nuisance to me. I have a New Jersey phone number but live in down town San Francisco. The number they are calling is a private number. No way it could be from anyone I know. Because I give them all a different number to reach me at. So you are probably correct, it is an agency, making these robot calls and weird calls. Please get back to me via my email. 844-466-5519 calls my cell for my grown stepson who does not live with me. i have told them it is a wrong number and they just hang up and never respond to me.
