“Constar” continues to call me regarging an expired ‘debt’ that their company bought from Naviant, formerly Sallie May, regarding student loans. I have no contract with Constar. I owe no debt. The gentleman that I have spoken to at Constar was professional. In the last conversation I did explain that I am bankrupted, my Mother is fatally ill, it is simply: True. I said that, like many at the time, I mortgaged part of my education and have made consistent payments to Navient in spite of financial hardship. When Constar bought this debt collection from Navient, Navient stopped taking monthly payments that I set up with them, out of the account I designated. I do not owe Constar any monies. Though I have blocked many of their computer-dial numbers, I continue to recieve calls. I have the direct number to the gentleman whom I spoke with twice regarding this. He has updated the “notes” section of my account indicating that I am not dodging a debt, and that I am unable to make any payment anytime soon due to overwhelming medical expenses and abject poverty. The robo-calls are unceasing. This is Harassment. I do not have a debt with Constar. This is illegal and I am well aware of my rights. Due to the breaches in security at Navient, that Company has claimed tgat they do not even know what client owes what debt and therefore all debt-collection will cease in great apologies to such violations of people’s secure information due to this eggregious Security Breach of their system. Constar bought out this debt and is harassing me about it. Again, I have no contract with Constar. I owe their Company no debt. Their illegal, predatory behavior needs to cease. Harassment is illegal. Adding to it that my (fatally ill) Mother is going to start being Illegally Harassed about a debt that she does not owe is morally unacceptable. I will not return any calls from Constar moving forward. Though I did request a ‘bill’ or any account summary via mail and was told that they would send it, twice; I have yet to receive any document in the mail from Constar.
