Over a year ago I agreed to take Liberty Mutual insurance I was on the phone with the representative for over an hour. I think his name was Jose. I told him I was interested in saving money on my auto insurance and was shopping around. After speaking with him I decided to try LM. I paid the year in full and was instructed to cancel my existing insurance and to go on line to complete and sign the paperwork. Jose assured me that the transition would be very easy and that he would help me every step of the way. I held off on cancelling my insurance I wanted to wait until everything was a go. Every time I\'d go on line I couldn\'t get into the site. I would call the person I spoke with Jose and I would get a voice mail referring me to customer service. Then I would call customer service and I would get a voice mail referring to go on line. \"It was terrible.\" Well the date came and went for my new coverage to begin so I call AMEX and disputed the charges from Liberty Mutual and was refunded the $$ I paid then Liberty Mutual sent me a bill for approximately $400 for the two months I was coverage... No true I never left the company I\'ve been with for at least 10 years+ I didn\'t pay the invoice they sent to me and now I have a collection agency calling me + they turned me into the National Credit Bureaus. I have worked hard to get my credit score up to were it is and Liberty Mutual is trying to hurt a consumers credit etc. for $400 that is not theirs they did not meet their contractual agreement with me.
