They call all day every day and now they have started calling my parents and in laws. This is my problem, not my parents. I submit payment and it's not enough. I can not wait to get this paid off and be done with them forever. They have totally ruined my credit and embarrassed me with my family.

My mom passed away on December 25, 2020 with a $30 balance on her Talbots Card and a $30 balance on her Pottery Barn Card. I called Comenity Bank and told them and asked for help closing her accounts and not only did they never help me, they began making extremely aggressive and harassing calls to my husband. I have repeatedly tried to close the accounts but Comenity has blown me off each time. I’m a regulatory attorney and aware that this type of conduct is a violation of federal law.

Hi,
We have recently fell on hard times and missed a few payments and am trying our best to pay our debts as we can. I have been receiving calls from multiple representatives of Comenity bank threatening to take legal action against me and that I need my attorney to call them. They call multiple times per day and it is becoming stressful and scary as they threaten legal action against me. I really need your help with this matter.

I've been receiving calls from 855-334-4197. Her name is Kari and her extension is 1276102. She has called my work phone many times and even left a voicemail on my supervisor's phone, which is so very embarrassing. She is also calling to my parent's home. I need this to stop.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our family has fallen on hard times financially with our son being diagnosed with a chronic illness that requires daily meds, weekly methotrexate (chemo) shot and infusions every 6 weeks and doctor visits. I send what I can when I have it and I get harassed several times daily and now they call my niece with my financial issue. Can this even be legal??? how did they know she was a family member & how did they get her #. I'm furious!

Mr. Morton from Comenity Bank keeps calling me regarding someone elses bill. I have had 5 calls and messages today and two a few days ago. Mr. Morton had a mean voice. I'm hearing impaired so the info is recorded on my TTY phone. My Name is Johanna. I have no outstanding bill with Victoria Secret as he left on my machine what details. Are they breaking the law by contacting me for something that I don't owe ? I have no credit card with Victoria Secrets. I told a young woman this morning, not me, then blocked number. Have received 4 calls since!

I have been getting calls 7-10 times a day with no message for over a month and last night they finally left a rude message about my Ann Taylor card. I called back the number and it was busy every time I called. The lady's name was Linda at 855-334-4197, ext. 127-7237. So I called customer service number on the back of my card. Talked to a rep and then asked for a manager. So I had an Ann Taylor store card back in 2015, then we consolidated that card and I got an Ann Taylor MasterCard in 2017. I was told the other account was closed. There have been times I didn’t have my Ann Taylor card at the store so give them my license to look up my account to charge it. Apparently in 2017, they put the charge on my old card even though it had been closed in 2015. I have never had calls until the last month or so nor any mailings. My login only shows my one card. So I owed $258 for that charge but they have been putting late fees and other charges, so said I owed over $400. The manager did remove the charges and I only paid the $258.36 I owed. I was livid. How can a card accept a charge when it was closed two years ago? I was so mad and then concerned it would affect my credit report. He (manager I spoke to) said he was fixing it all and would ensure it doesn’t go on my credit report. He gave me a confirmation and his name. Think I should be good!

I have been receiving calls from Comenity Bank for 2 weeks straight. Every day even weekends, multiple times a day. I recently had dental surgery and am unable to talk so I haven't answered the phone. Today I got a threatening message telling me they would take me to court and that since they couldn't reach me that they assume I have no intention of paying my bill. I do have a credit card with them but haven't had the money to even make a payment. I'm a single mom with 2 kids and recent problems with things (like appliances,car etc.) have really taken money from my pocket. I called them today and set up a payment but I can't afford it. I believe I only owe under $300 on the card. I have had anxiety recently because of their harassment and I don't know what to do!

COMENTIY BANGK TERRIBLY HARASSING PHONE CALLS. ALL DAY LONG. YES, I DO HAVE 2 ACCOUNTS WITH THEM, BUTO NEVER WILL AGAIN. AND YES I AM BEHIND, BUT I LOST MY JOB A YEAR AGO, COULD NOT COLLECT UNEMPLOYMENT AND I HAVE COMPLETELY EXHAUSTED MY RETIREMENT TO JUST STAY AFLOAT WITH EVERYDAY LIVING EXPENSES AND BILLS. MY HUSBAND IS ON DISABILITY AND CANNOT HELP. I HAVE HAD TO GO ON FOOD STAMPS WHICH IS SO HUMILATING. I HAVE MADE PAYMENTS UNTIL I JUST DID NOT HAVE THE EXTRA TO FORK OVER. I HAVE EXPLAINED THIS TO THEM OVER 100 TIMES. I AM STARTING A NEW JOB THIS MONDAY AND EXPLAINED THAT I WOULD SET UP A PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT AS SOON AS I START BUT THEY DON'T GIVE A FUCK, YOU COULD BE HOMELESS AND THEY STILLWOULD HARASS YOU.

Keeps calling me I don't answer so now they are calling my son on his cell phone leaving a message saying it's urgent my son does not live with me for over 20 years I'm 75 years old I know I owe them but I don't have the money they took money out of my checking account one time without my ok and my bank put it back in so they are really mad with me

I'm not sure of the case, but I keep getting phone calls from 855-334-4197. I finally blocked the number, it was from 7am-9pm that I would get phone calls. Then they started calling from private numbers. Saying they need my attorney to contact them!

They stated they will find every person that is somehow connected to you, they will call former and current employers to get a hold of you. Completely unethical and unacceptable. Lady had the NERVE to get an attitude with me when I said my family was off limits and putting their numbers on their "call" list when I did NOT put them on there is absolutely uncalled for.
