Hello Shelbie. While it is not illegal for debt collectors to call your friends, family, or job, they are not permitted to continuously do so or harass anyone over your debt, including you. I continuously get calls & texts from this number, 844-421-7502, saying they are debt collectors. But they will never tell me what debt is owed, an amount owed or what company I owe. They’ve threatened me with lawsuits and have called my family members & job multiple times.
