Did reverse searches on several numbers on my new MagicJack. Though it's not a cell, how do I get Great Lakes to stop calling? No messages on answering machine, just calls. Sorry, but I am naturally protective of my info. You guys are a law firm, but how do I know that? Thanks. Who will be contacting me? Would I be able to call them during the day? I just did some research and I know Agruss is the real feal. I do not wish to be called. I wouldn't answer an unrecognized number anyway. I get tons of telemarketer calls. I discontinued text and voicemail. I have registered on Do Not Call lists, and still they won't leave me alone. I appreciate all your help. Thank you and have a good night! Sharon!

I am in heart failure for the 3rd time and not able to get out of debt. I work just to get by. I cannot finish college or work a good job or pay off bills and loans. I told Great Lakes this in emails and they still call daily.

I was called by this number but I don’t have a student loan with this company. I didn’t have my phone so I didn’t answer. I researched the number and came across your ad. However they didn’t leave a message

Nov. 19, 2017 Ref: Great Lakes Student Loan #71-7716025 Listed below is a brief description about my nightmare of an issue with a Great Lakes Student Loan. I had a student loan with Great Lakes and in August 2007 I had my debts consolidated through Wachovia Bank. Wachovia acquired the payoffs for each of my outstanding debts including Great Lakes. Wachovia was told that the payoff was $21,135. My settlement date was August 8, 2007 and the banker contacted Great Lakes for payoff confirmation, at which time the $21,135 was confirmed. A disbursement was made by Wachovia in the amount of $21,135 on August 10. Great Lakes keep telling me that this was not correct and I owed an additional $750, which with interested is now over $1300. I have written numerous letters disputing this and forwarded copies of the actual disbursement and they constantly keep calling my home and sending nasty letters. I have requested that they cease calling both in writing and via phone and they constantly keeps hounding me. At this point I would like to know my options. Sincerely, E. Edward.
